About this tool
Customize options, weights, and a title, then spin to pick at random. Slice size matches each option's odds. Everything stays on your device — no sign-up required.
Use cases
Classroom roll call & picks
List student names as options and spin for fair roll call or classroom draws — no roster shuffle, results visible to everyone.
Weighted odds
Assign weights so slice size matches win probability — ideal when some options should win more often.
How to use
- Enter a wheel title and option labels in the editor; adjust weights when you need uneven odds (default is 1).
- Click Spin; when the animation finishes, the result appears below the wheel.
- Load a preset from the footer, or use Bulk input to paste many lines at once (add x2 at the end of a line for weight).
- Save a named wheel on this device, then load it later from Manage saved wheels.
- Share via copied link or a .wheel file export; if the link is too long, the UI suggests exporting a file instead.
Key features
- Weighted slices: visual size matches win probability
- Six preset wheels and on-device named saves
- Share via compressed URL or .wheel file
- Export spin results as a PNG image
FAQ
- Is my data sent to a server?
- No. Sessions and saved wheels live in browser localStorage. Share links and .wheel files only encode your setup — nothing passes through a backend.
- How are weights calculated?
- Each visible option's chance = its weight ÷ sum of all visible weights. Slice arc length uses the same ratio.
- How many options can I add?
- Between 2 and 100. If a share link exceeds 2048 characters, export a .wheel file instead.
